Venkat Kolluri - Co-Founder and CEO
Venkat is co-founder of Chitika and has served as President & CEO since the company's inception. Venkat oversees all of Chitika's operations, including it's strategic direction and product planning, as well as corporate development.
Previously, Venkat worked at Upromise, leading the Partner Services group in the Database Marketing & Analytics division. Prior to Upromise, he worked at Lycos as the Principal Technologist in the Marketing Services group and spearheaded the development and launch of several innovative Advertising and Marketing Automation products and services across the Lycos Network. Venkat's work has been published in several journals and conferences. Venkat holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from University of Pittsburgh.
Alden DoRosario - Co-Founder and CTO
Alden is co-founder of Chitika and has served as CTO since the company's inception. Alden is responsible for the company's overall technology direction and oversees all of Chitika's technical operations, including it's product strategy, new product development and engineering.
Alden is a seasoned technologist with over nine years of experience in enterprise infrastructure and Ad technologies. Previously at Terra Lycos, Alden designed and implemented several key projects on information retrieval, customer analytics and ad targeting. Alden was particularly instrumental in designing a highly scalable proprietary ad serving platform that managed ad serving and deployment across the 120 Terra Lycos properties.
Alden has an M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a B.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from the Visvesvaraya Regional College of Engineering, Nagpur, India. Alden has three patents pending in Internet-related technologies. The first patent is related to breakthroughs in Advertising/Direct Marketing on Internet networks and the other two are related to Information Retrieval.

David is an experienced entrepreneur and executive with over twenty years experience building successful internet and technology businesses. He is a recognized expert in internet search and ecommerce. David is currently the CEO of Mall Networks and Technology Advisor & Former CTO, Upromise, Needham, MA. Prior to Upromise David served as VP Engineering at Lycos and Direct Hit (acquired by Ask Jeeves).
Russell Franks
Russell is an advisor/investor focused on helping early stage companies develop and drive go-to-market strategies. Formerly VP Business Development at Lycos, Inc. Member of Board of Overseers Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Meredith Hanrahan
Meredith Hanrahan is the Chief Marketing Officer and SVP of Interactive Division for Salary.com, the leading compensation technology company located in Needham, MA. Prior to Salary.com, Hanrahan held positions as CMO of AG Interactive, the on-line greeting card company and VP/GM of Matchmaker.com, a division of Terra Lycos. Hanrahan has over 15 years of brand management experience on consumer brand products such as Miller Lite, Lindt Chocolate, and General Mills' cereals and is a recognized expert on internet subscription services. Hanrahan has an MBA degree from Harvard University and a BA, Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire.
